About Me

My name is Elijah Accola, I am a brain cancer survivor. I had a malignant brain tumor removed in March 2011.  My brain tumor was located in my prefrontal cortex. After it was removed, I was left with a list of limitations.  I had/have problems with my short term memory, impulse control, and my personality.  It was one of the hardest times in my life.  I am still fighting to get back to “normal”.

Even though it was a hard time in my life, I would not change it for the world!!!! It has made me the person I am today.  It has made me appreciate my family, friends, and LIFE!  I now have a better perspective on life!

WHEN I AM ON MY DEATH BED, I WANT TO LOOK BACK ON MY LIFE AND FEEL LIKE I TOOK ADVANTAGE OF EVERY SITUATION AND I LIVED MY LIFE TO THE FULLEST!
